At Harley Street Breast Care, we understand how breast cancer can impact your life.
Harley Street Breast Care is a private specialist breast clinic at 35 Weymouth Street, London W1G 8BJ, in London’s Harley Street medical district. We offer fast-tracked, consultant-led and personalised care for anyone who has noticed a breast change, such as a lump, breast pain, nipple discharge or a change in appearance, as well as people with a family history or genetic risk, people with an abnormal mammogram elsewhere, and people already diagnosed who want a specialist second opinion. Our experienced team of breast specialists and surgeons provides care tailored to your own personal needs, supported by a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, oncologists and pathologists and by Specialist Breast Care Nurses.
Our clinic is led by Mr Debashis Ghosh, Consultant Breast & Oncoplastic Surgeon (GMC No. 4657664), who holds dual European Board certification (FEBS) in Breast Surgery and Surgical Oncology — an uncommon combination among UK surgeons — has been a consultant since 2012, and was formerly Clinical Director of Breast Services for NHS England’s NCL Cancer Alliance.
We see self-pay and privately insured patients from Marylebone, Mayfair, the West End and across Central London, from Greater London and the rest of the UK, and international patients travelling to London for specialist breast care. Mr Ghosh holds dual European Board certification in Breast Surgery and Surgical Oncology, served as Clinical Director of Breast Services for NHS England's NCL Cancer Alliance, and is Divisional Director at The London Clinic. No GP referral is required for a private consultation, though insured patients should check their insurer’s requirements before booking.
Our One-Stop Breast Clinic brings the consultation, examination, imaging and, where clinically indicated, biopsy into one visit, typically around 60–90 minutes from arrival to results depending on the investigations required. Same-day results are available where clinically appropriate; some tests, such as biopsy pathology, need further processing and a follow-up.
