Take the Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan line westbound from King’s Cross St Pancras to Great Portland Street. It is two stops and about four minutes, then a five to seven minute walk across Portland Place into Devonshire Street. Door to door, allow fifteen to twenty minutes.
King’s Cross St Pancras is one of the better-connected starting points for this clinic, because a single westbound line lands you five minutes away with no change at all. If you have arrived on Eurostar with luggage, the taxi rank is often the calmer choice.

From the Eurostar arrivals hall at St Pancras or the King’s Cross concourse, follow signs to the Underground and then to the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. These share platforms, and all three run in the direction you need.
The train calls at Euston Square, then Great Portland Street. The run takes about four minutes. Any of the three lines will do, so take whichever arrives first.
Leave the station, cross Portland Place and continue into Devonshire Street. Harley Street is the next junction and the clinic is on your left. Allow five to seven minutes.
Yes, and plenty of patients do. It is a little under two miles, almost entirely along Euston Road and Marylebone Road, which takes thirty-five to forty minutes at a steady pace. The route is flat and well lit but it runs beside one of the busiest arterial roads in London, so it is not a pleasant walk in heavy traffic or rain.
A better compromise is to walk as far as Euston Square, which takes about ten minutes, and take one stop from there. That halves the noisiest section of the walk and still avoids the interchange crowds at King’s Cross.
King’s Cross St Pancras has step-free access from street to platform on the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines, which is why this route suits patients with a case or a pushchair. Great Portland Street should not be assumed to be step-free end to end, so if that matters, check the current step-free tube guide before you travel or take a taxi for the final leg.
The clinic is a shade under two miles due west, essentially a straight run along Euston Road onto Marylebone Road. A taxi takes ten to twenty minutes and the fare is modest, which makes this one of the few London journeys where a cab is a genuinely sensible default rather than a luxury.
St Pancras International has a rank on Pancras Road at the eastern side, and King’s Cross has one on the northern concourse. The St Pancras rank is the quieter of the two and is signed from the Eurostar arrivals hall.
Euston Road is one of the most congested corridors in London between 08:00 and 09:30 and again from 16:30. In those windows the two-stop tube journey will comfortably beat a taxi, so if your appointment time is fixed, take the train.
Both the stations and the clinic sit inside the Congestion Charge zone, so a car journey between them is charged whichever way you go. Q-Park Harley Street at Queen Anne Mews, W1G 9HF is the nearest underground car park, seven minutes on foot, with a 1.82 metre height limit.

East Coast services from Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland arrive into King’s Cross; Midland Main Line services from Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield arrive into St Pancras; Thameslink runs in from Bedford and Luton; and Eurostar brings patients from Paris, Brussels, Lille and Amsterdam. All of them are fifteen minutes from our door.

Most assessments run sixty to ninety minutes, which fits inside a day return from almost anywhere on those lines.
If you are coming by Eurostar, allow forty-five minutes from stepping off the train to arriving at the clinic and bring your passport for registration as well as travel. Patients arriving from outside the UK should also bring any imaging on a disc or USB stick rather than as printed films alone.
One practical note about booking. Advance tickets on the East Coast and Midland routes are tied to a specific train, so it is worth confirming your appointment slot before you buy the ticket rather than the other way round. If surgery is later recommended, it takes place at a partner private hospital and your consultant will arrange the details.
Great Portland Street is the station to aim for from King’s Cross — it is two stops west and five minutes on foot from our door at the northern end of Harley Street.
